Operation Christmas
The Elpis Foundation is raising money this Christmas Season to help local families by providing Christmas Presents for their children and putting together winter clothing packages for area Homeless in Philadelphia. We are teaming up w/ Saint Simon and Jude and their Sister Parish Saint Veronica’s in N. Philadelphia to provide Christmas presents for families in need in our area. We will also be providing back packs full of new winter clothing and other essentials to pass out to the homeless on the streets of Philadelphia.
Christmas Drive
With the help of Saint Veronicas and SS. Simon and Jude, we will be sponsoring families in need who are unable to provide Christmas Presents this year to their children. St. Veronicas and Simon and Jude work with area families in need to provide both presents and essentials for a Happy Christmas.
Winter Clothing Drive
We will be putting together backpacks of winter clothing and other essentials to pass out to the homeless on the streets of Philadelphia. Hopefully this will help keep them warm and safe through the holidays and the cold winter months ahead
How does it work?
Through your generous donations we will be able to go and purchase both Christmas Presents and the Clothing Packs and then deliver them to St. Veronica’s and the Area Homeless. If you would like to help but can not donate, we will need assistance purchasing the items and delivering them as well!
We will provide updates on how much money has been raised and who we are able to help! We also are working on a way to purchase items directly thru Amazon to ship direct to the Church or our office to ensure you can help exactly how you want. Check back often!
