Welcome to the 4th Annual JFM Memorial Gala Page!! This year's event is being held on Saturday February 11th at Llanerch Country Club, starting at 5:30PM. The event is invitation only, so please only purchase a ticket if you have already received your invitation. Inquiries for extra tickets can be made by contacting Patrick McNichol
The JFM Fund was established in 2013 by The McNichol Family and The Elpis Foundation benefitting The Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania. This fund will provide financial support for lung cancer research conducted by Dr. James Metz, specifically, as it relates to early detection and screening, circulating tumor cells and immunotherapy.
We have pledged $200,000 to The Abramson Cancer Center and to date have donated $125,000. We look forward to celebrating the life of Joseph McNichol and raising money for such a wonderful cause!
We will again have an open bar and fantastic buffet provided by the wonderful staff at Llanerch Country Club. Mike Liney will again be headlining the event, playing all your favorite tunes to keep the party going. Tickets to this years event at $150 and can be purchased below! You can also send a check to the Elpis Foundation to 1271 Upton Circle, West Chester, PA 19380.
Last year we added the "wine pull" and it was a HUGE success! For those unfamiliar, here is a good video to explain how it works. For this to be even more successful, we are again asking people to donate bottle of wine or put us in contact with some bar owners, liquor store managers/owners etc. who may be able to help us out! The more wine we can collect, the more fun it will be!
We are very eager to see you out there and we encourage everyone to support the JFM Fund in any way you are comfortable. We are looking for private monetary donations for the event, raffle and auction prizes as well as event volunteers. No gift or donation is too small!
If you can not attend but would still like to get involved, please email Patrick at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Elpis Foundation is excited to help the amazing and beautiful Katy Clark. Katy was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer in December 2015. This past February, she made the difficult decision to have a double mastectomy. Shortly after the mastectomy, Katy was diagnosed with Stage 2b Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC), which means that cancer was found in blood vessels surrounding her lymph nodes. Elpis is honored to be a part of Katy's journey - click to find out more about Katy.
Hosted by the Elpis Foundation, War on the Shore has raised over $250,000 for the Four Diamonds Fund since it's first event in 2004! Join us for a night of food and fun at Jack's Place in Avalon, Nj. We'll have a live DJ for the dance floor, as well as outdoor catering provided by Pappy's BBQ of Marmora, NJ.
On behalf of the McClintock Family and Justin, we would like to thank all of the participants in the 2015 TRM. This year’s event was an enormous success, with a record number of golfers (96), hole sponsors (12) and prize donations (30). However, the most important figure is that this year we were able to donate $15,000 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in memory of Todd!
The Elpis Foundation and the McClintock's would like to thank all of the golfers, hole sponsors, donors, volunteers and anyone who helped make the 7th Annual TRM Memorial a smashing success. With over 30 golfers and 10 hole sponsors, we were able to raise over $10,000, with proceeds going to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of Todd.
I would like to begin by thanking all of you who have supported The War on the Shore in some fashion over the years. Without all of your help and generosity, It would never have grown into what it is today. There would also be no Elpis Foundation either. Thank you all VERY much. But we still have a lot of work to do!!
The 6th Annual TRM Memorial was another great success, raising over $12,000, with proceeds benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of our friend, Todd Reed McClintock. We would like to thank all of the the McClintock family for allowing us to once again host this great event and the golfers and hole sponsors, which make the event possible.
Join us for the 4th Annual Elpis Foundation Strikes for Tikes Bowl-A-Thon, with PROCEEDS BENEFITING THE CHILDREN’S NATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER IN WASHINGTON D.C. The event has raised nearly $50,000 for pediatric cancer since its inception. Please use the link below to sign up, all are welcome.
Thanks to everyone who came out and attended War on the Shore #8! It was our biggest year ever! The move to Jack's Place was amazing! Pappy's BBQ got excelent reviews (wow that pork was good!). DJ Jay Weiss and Long Miles kept the inside moving all night. Overall, it couldnt have been much better. Special thanks to all those who donated prizes, it was with out a doubt our best Raffle to date.
War on the Shore VII was another great success! We had a great time at the Windrift for our 6th strait year and are looking forward to a 7th with the Windrift. As usual, the weather was beautiful and we had a great turnout from people of all ages. We are slowly spreading outside the realm of PSU Alumni, which is VERY encouraging!!
We would like to thank everyone for their participation in the 4th Annual TRM Memorial Golf Outing. The event was a huge success, raising over $7,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma society in memory of Todd McClintock.

And a special thanks to everyone who has attended throughout the years, it is obvious that you are the reason we have been able to enjoy the success we have to date. This year we raised over $21,000, giving us a grand total of over $91,000 in six years!!
